The bumph from the Zuiver website claims, "From the coast of Malaysia to your living room: the seat is made from plastic waste that made its way to our oceans, collected from beaches and riverbanks, among other places. The frame is made of steel, which is 100% recyclable. With its light and organic silhouette and various solid colours, this chair fits perfectly into any interior." Each chair has a QR code on the product label showing the exact location where the plastic was collected. Designed by the Amsterdam based studio APE the shell is made from HDPE ocean bound plastic waste. The frame is made from virgin steel which must be separated from the shell to facilitate recycling (the shell cannot be recycled). This non stacking chair is available in four colours but failed to score well in my analysis.
