Note:
Legend has it that Eero Aarnio was inspired to develop the Bubble chair after struggling to read while relaxing in his Ball chair. Acrylic is heated and blown into a shape resembling a soap bubble. The chair was suspended from the ceiling as there was no elegant way to make a transparent pedestal. As with the Ball chair, the Bubble chair provides some acoustic privacy, protecting the sitter from surrounding noise and gives the feeling of floating in space. Aarnio claims the Bubble Chair as his personal favourite.
