The second of three sustainably minded designs introduced by the Italian manufacturer S.CAB in 2020. Again, this design achieved a relatively high score in my comparison of sustainable designs chiefly due to the fact this monobloc can be recycled at the end of life according to the manufacturer. However, as with the other designs developed by this manufacturer at this time the chair is made from a technopolymer containing 60% recycled content. In practice it seems unlikely that the chair will actually be recycled at the end of its useful life. Slightly heavier than the Sai Go Green, the Ginevra weighs 4kg (about average) but can stack 8 units high, delivering transport savings. Two versions are available (one with arms) but colour choices are limited to two.
