Yet another design by Phillipe Starch for Kartell. This version of the Her Highest Highness series is made completely from recycled material but it cannot be recycled at the end of life. The recycled material is obtained from pure scrap elements from a variety of industrial sectors, such as furnishing, automotive, electrical appliances and packaging, which are not contaminated by other materials according to the company. Homogenous supplies allow the company to develop a stable technopolymer that it has used to reissue a number of earlier designs in an aim to reduce the environmental impact of their production facilities. The chair is available in a wide selection of colours with other (heavier and more expensive variants) also available (including a range of Liberty prints), expanding the range. Only one variant of the design is available and chairs are shipped in cartons containing only one unit contributing to the below average score awarded to this chair in my comparison. elements from a variety of sectors, such as furnishing, automotive,
