The New Zealand company Noho designed and manufactured the Move from 2020. The Move is made from Nylon 6, reclaimed from fishing nets and end of life carpet, and recycled post-industrial polypropylene. The source material is fully recycled but (as different plastics have been combined) cannot be reprocessed at end of live. The chair does not stack but can be dismantled, which delivers some environmental benefit during transport. Only two-colour choices and one configuration of the design are available, resulting in a below average score in my comparison of more sustainable plastic chairs. After a failed tilt at the American market the company closed its USA operation and then its New Zealand operation at the end of last years. Some products are still available online through other outlets so grab one while you still can!
