The first of three designs introduced by the Italian manufacturer S.CAB in 2020. The Sai Go Green was developed inhouse. The design achieved a high score in mud comparison of chairs designed with sustainability in mind due to the fact the manufacturer claims the chair can be recycled at the end of life, despite being made from a technopolymer containing 60% recycled content. If the chair will actually be recycled at the end of its useful life is debatable, but hopefully that is many years off. In the meantime, the design also achieved high scores as it is light (minimising the use of material) can be stacked 10 units high, delivering transport efficiencies plus it is offered at a relatively inexpensive price, broadening appeal. Colour choices are limited to 2 and no variants to the standard design are available.
