Note:
The Souvenir 555R was designed by Eugeni Quitllet for Pedrail in 2023. The manufacturer claims that the chair can be recycled after use, despite the addition of 20% fibreglass, which meant the design achieved the highest score for end-of-life impacts, although it is highly doubtful that the chair would actually be recycled in real life. While the chair can stack 6 units high, it is shipped in cartons containing only 2 units. The chair is only available in one standard model and weighs above average. Despite these drawbacks, the chair scored in the above-average range in my comparison of sustainable chairs.
